33’rd Cairo International Film Festival session wraps up
 

APA- Cairo (Egypt) The 33’rd Cairo International Film Festival session wrapped up late Friday night by distributing prizes in a colorful celebration at Cairo opera house .

The Prize for the Best Director went to the Director : Mona Achache For her film : The Hedgehog produced by Les Films des Tournelles(France).

Her outstanding debut work showed a mastery of the medium, sensitivity and a remarkably a clear vision.

The Prize for the Best Actor was shared between two Actors, Indian actor Subrat Dutta and the Egyptian actor Fathy Abdel Wahab for their sustained and convincing performances portraying men up against life’s travails with the pain and humor inherent in that.

Actor Surat Dutta won the prize for his role in Film Madholal Keep Walking Directed byJai Tank which Produced by Dream Cuts (India)

Fathy Abdel Wahab won the prize for his role in Film, Nile Birds Directed by Magdy Ahmed Aly Produced by Al Arabia Cinema (Egypt).

Actress Karolina Piechota won the prize of the Best actress for her role in Film Splinters directed by Maciej Pieprzyca Produced by Akson Studio (Poland)

The Prize for the Best Film, the Golden Pyramid was presented to the producer of the Finnish Film Letters to Father Jacob Directed by Klaus Haro.
